I had an infarction in my spinal cord over 30 years and can walk but have spotty strength in my leg. I suspect lower motor neuron injury.
I use the neurocare 4000 electric stim for my legs and it has kept me healthy but no real significant improvement. For the last couple of weeks I have been trying a technique where I would place one of the pads on lumbar are of my spinal cord and the other on the muscle in my leg. I seem to get a much stronger contraction and I have also been feeling stronger in my leg.
there is no scientific basis for how I am feeling though I don't think it is a placebo effect of all the news about spinal cord stimulation. Has any one else tried this technique.
