I have been having episodes od chaotic heartbeats that last anywhere from a few hours to all day--cardio ulrasound found nothing wrong and wearing monitor didnt catch it. it happens every few months and is rather scary. I'm beginning to suspect a link to my digestion after eating lots of nuts, apples, and other rough food. I am c6 quad--colostomy for 4 yrs, and I take nexium due to ruptured stomach and bowel in 2006. Has anyone else experienced heart palpitations and could slow digestion trigger this?
