Foley without leg bag

I am wearing a foley for about two weeks due to some issues and I was wondering if I can cap it an not wear the leg bag for a couple of hours? I have an outside event to attend and wearing pants to cover the leg bag would be way to hot. I know when I have to cath so I am not worried about urine backing up just want to know if the plug will stay in or not
