So before I was complaining about my 14 French catheter getting clogged every day sometimes twice a day, so I got in with a urologist to scope out the sediment and put in a bigger catheter. The man put in a 24 fr !!! I went from a 14 to 24, now I want to work my way down to a 20 in the next few months. This thing is a Canon it's giving me anxiety just having it. And the balloon is 20 cc not 10. Is this going to be much more irritating on my insides? Also will it be more limiting, will I still be able to lay on my stomach etc. Also will it affect the healing process of the incision site if I want to remove the indwelling catheter?
