This year has been a struggle for me, health wise. Jan I found I had a sizable blood clot in my ivc filter. We tried via 2 Caths in my groin to dissolve it. It was already hardened. They put two stents in my illiac I'm pretty sure. That is when everything changed. I ended up with a staph infection, high fevers, high heart beat, ended up getting blisters from medical tape and an allergic reaction to the blood transfusion. Ive had multiple transfusions before and never had a problem, same with the tape. After drs telling me there was nothing else they could do for the clot, I got transferred to abother hospital for a second opinion. Where they did nothing.
Since, I haven't been the same, thoughts were something to do with the stents?
My spasms are mostly focused in my pelvis region, right side and back. Now is pulling my right hip up and causing acute scoliosis.
My sci Dr wrote a script for pt and dantrolene. I had my liver function tested and was oked to start it.
My pt can put me back in alignment but later that night my right hip is hiked again.
I was discharged from pt to seek more medical answers.
Saw a new dr for these problems, he suggested trying dantrolene, and seeing if it would help, if not stop and we know it's something to do with the stents/clot.
He presented a procedure, via Cath in my neck. Going to my clot and stenting it open.
My question, is about dantrolene. I've researched alot on here and seems alot are against it bc it's harsh on your liver. I have alot going on, and don't need that on top.
I am on 20mgs 4xs baclofen, we just downed it from 30mg to 20 and saw no difference.
Also on Lovanox 80mg 1x
Any input I would appreciate!
