I have been in a wheelchair over 12 years and the last time I saw a Physiatrist was over 11 years ago.
I have an intermittent sharp pain below my level of injury in my right flank in the back and increasing colon spasms on my ascending colon. So, I decided to take a trip to the US and scheduled an appoimtment with a Physiatrist. Local doctors (overseas) have not paid much attention to the spasms or the pain, and ultrasounds have shown nothing.
How should I prepare, what info should I take, what questions should I ask? Thanks as always for your input.
