Dear Drs,
hope my post finds you well.
I'm quadriplegic C5 since 2004, I'm suffering from a very low blood pressure.
I'm on a daily basis of Efortil, Midodrine hydrochloride and Astonin-H (fludrocortisone), And sometimes my blood goes below 80/40 and 70/40.
Last month a neurologist has diagnosed me as a 'vasomotor instability' and he recommended 'Wellbutrin SR (bupropion)' once daily for six months, to help increase the blood pressure and gradually reduce the (Efortil, Midodrine and Astonin-H), but I'm not still satisfied and the side effects of Wellbutrin really bothers me.
On online forum I've read that the best treatment for SI is HRT 'Hormone replacement therapy' .
Any recommendations?
Your replies are greatly appreciated
