Why is it so hard to find info on ergo seating since its been around for years? One of my therapists told me ti-lite was starting to offer ergo seating with their chairs. But I can't find anything on their website about it. Even googling companies that offer this comes up empty. Am I just missing something? Here are a few questions I had that maybe someone here can answer.
1. What kind of seat pans are used in this configuration (sling, solid, etc.)
2. Does anyone offer a carbon fiber pan (ADI, etc.)
3. I've heard you can use a Ride designs cushion by cutting a slit along the bottom of it where the seat pan goes from flat to sloping so that the cushion slopes with it. Any truth to this?
I'm going to be needing a new chair soon, and would love to get a TR with an ergo seat, carbon fiber pan, and use a Ride designs cushion. If possible...
