I keep getting a kidney stone in my left kidney. I just had it removed in february 2013. they went through my back and took several procedures to get it out. they put a tube in my back twice cause it wasnt put in the right spot, then 2 different procedures to remove the stone.. now I have a stone again in the same spot and its the size of a quarter. dr says it's got to be removed the same way because it's so big. is there any way i can prevent this, i drink a lot of water. what am i supposed to do... go every 2.5 years and go through this procedure? it can't be good for my kidney and i don't do good with anesthesia. Dr said we can't do the shock treatment to break it up because of size.
