Pink LemonAid #2 is the first strain that I will be offering publicly as part of my current (and future) breeding endeavors. I've seen Pink Lemonade mentioned as a strain name in a couple other places, but I have yet to find any solid information or definitive pictures relating to those occurrences, so I hereby consider this to be the official Pink LemonAid strain!
Its genetics are a cross between a Lemon Cheesecake female (one of my top 3 strains) and a Huckleberry Hound male. It's a sativa dominant strain with tight buds that are highly resinous and extraordinarily pink! The plant itself has lanky branches with long internode spacing and it has a definite sativa stretch during the first 3 weeks of the flowering cycle. The pink/magenta colors will be visible right at the onset of bud formation, and may turn to a more purple color with colder temps. The calyxes and underside of the leaves display plenty of color as well. The aroma is somewhat mild, but a definite pink lemonade scent, and taste, can be discerned. Pink LemonAid #2 will finish flowering somewhere around 58-62 days, but will go longer if you let it. Much like its Lemon Cheesecake parent, it's a phenomenal daytime high. It is my personal go-to smoke every single morning because of the euphoric, expansive, creative, and social high it produces.

Huckleberry Hound (female)

I've found 3 phenotypes from the seeds I've planted (so far), and Pink Lemonaid #2 is the true winner. The other two are also very nice and equally as resinous. Pheno #1 one is also sativa dominant with pink and green buds, however, they are somewhat airy and unstable. Pheno #3 has more of an indica growth structure, and is a fantastic yielder, with traditional green colored buds.

Let me tell the story of how Pink LemonAid came to be, so there is never a question of the origin or history of this strain...
Last summer (2014), my very good buddy, Steve0707, gave me a male Huckleberry Hound plant which he grew from seed. I'm typically a cuttings guy, so I hadn't contemplated breeding before, but this peaked my curiosity about what kind of strains could be created from it, so I took 2 cuttings from the male, rooted them, and then put the large plant outside in August to flower naturally. The Huckleberry Hound flowered and had beautiful purple sepals from which the yellow male flowers grew. This male plant was unique because it had non-serrated leaves that sort of clawed under. I collected a crazy amount of pollen from this single plant and proceeded to hit my favorite strains with it- Lemon Cheesecake, Pineapple Express, Orange Kush, Black Cherry Soda, and a couple others. I ended up with a fair amount of seeds from each one, and after growing them all out I realized that the Huckleberry Hound male was an absolute stud! He endowed purple, pink, and magenta coloring to every single one of those crosses. I have still yet to find a cross that is not stunning!
I have already back crossed/reworked the Pink LemonAid strain to make seeds that produce 75+% solid pink/magenta plants.:israel:It's my intention to release other colorful high thc and high cbd strains in the near future. None of this would have been possible without Steve0707 gifting me that first Huckleberry Hound male, so I am forever grateful Steven! Thank you!
I'm not one to hoard strains all to myself because I come from the belief that an elite strain can only be truly appreciated when it's enjoyed by many. So I'd like for as many people to grow out this strain as possible in hopes that it will someday become a common household-name in the mmj scene. There is already one talented and respected local breeder working this strain into one of his upcoming projects. A couple months ago there was only a handful of people had the Pink LemonAid #2 cut in their gardens, but now people are starting to crop and it's making its way around quickly!
Pink LemonAid #2!

I will always have cuttings available of this strain for anyone interested.
I am asking my usual $10 donation per cutting.
Thanks for looking!
