Earlier this year I had 15 hours of instruction through Vocational Rehabilitation. The control seemed quite squirrelly and although we ended by driving across town, we never got over 35 miles an hour. I bailed on the whole process, but now as my multiple sclerosis progresses, I'm having second thoughts.
To those that know: Will I ever be able to drive 65 or 70 on the freeway? Will it always be squirrelly? Will it always seem like it's hard to stay in my lane? My drive to work is 15 minutes on a 4 Lane City street, then 20 minutes on a freeway. I've been using hand controls for 15 years or more, but this is a whole new animal.
